For some reason, I never really had a real want to go to NYC. I ended up going for a week on business and really fell in love with the city. The pace is really fast. Just how I like it. People definitely walk with a purpose here. There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from and so much character. Each section of the city has it's own character-Theatre District, Chelsea, Soho, Meatpacking District, Wall Street, Greenwich Village, Little Italy, Chinatown, Central Park, East Midtown. I can't wait to go back. I feel like a I saw so much, but it only scratched the surface of what the city has to offer. |
| | The Sites Of course there are a lot of tourist attractions and probably considered tourist traps, but these sites are such icons on TV and in movies, you can't help but want to see it-Times Square, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center, Broadway, 42nd Street. You also have so many Broadway shows to choose from as well as all the museums. I'm not a huge shopper, but I can see why power shoppers would drool walking down 5th Ave. |
| | Fast Money I'm a huge fan of CNBC's Fast Money, so I was thrilled to see them taping the show in Times Square. |
