Lesson #1: You Get What You Pay For. and other Las Vegas, NV Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

We ended up staying here because there was a big fight during a 3-day holiday weekend and most of the other hotels were full. This would not have been our first choice. Besides the pleasant front desk, there wasn't much else pleasant about our experience.

1)TV did not work. The TV would go off and on randomly. Upon advising maintenance, they shrugged their shoulders and said, "what do you want us to do?" We finally unplugged it.
2)The room was dirty. It was obviously not cleaned thoroughly. We found a pair of socks on the side of our bed!
3)The extension listed on our phone was for another room.
4)Escalators were out of order.

We stayed for one night. That was enough. Agree with previous reviews ,avoid at all costs.

Definitely a higher end hotel. As expected, the service, rooms and restaurants are top notch. If you are looking for great service and experience, I'd definitely recommend the Monte Carlo, but if you just need a place to sleep for a couple hours a night, there are cheaper alternatives.
