It's just a small corner of the World if I may say so. My world map is yet to be explored! I've been here since 2005! I use VT just for fun (make a catalog of my own trips & search for tips!) and I'm not a regular. I write tips here on VT about places & things I like & recommend. I also like to travel a lot in Sweden where I live. I have a special VT page on Wermland County which borders Norway in the West. While travelling abroad I prefer the countryside to the big city (...already live in one). I value nature, seaside and historical places.

2012.12.02: not much going on for the moment. Winter is here and I need to survive it.
Spring's approaching, but it's still cold and grey in Sweden :( Summer's travel plans still left undecided. 2012.04.20: Still amazingly cold :( I wish for a warm spring and 3 months of hot summer.
2012.05.20 - Finally, at least some good warm hot wheater now. Revisited U.K last week (cold...).
Contemplating Orkney islands in july...at the moment reading intensly about the islands :)

Hi, Palais Wittgenstein was demolish in the 1950s !So there is nothing left of it !
Glad you liked my city (I actually live about 28 miles away in the suburbs, but my 2 oldest sons actually live in the city itself and my parents grew up there also). Never thought about the Chicago Cloudgate looking like a bun. We actually don't call it Cloudgate. It's known by the locals as "The Bean"
