Getting TO/AROUND: I loved taking a Ship to Nassah. It seems most of the Hotels are very expensive or pretty shabby. Then after your on shore, taxi cabs are a good way to get around. Also a limo is the best way of seeing the city. Some even rent cycles or mopads. (Be forwarned they drive WILD down there). MY FAVORITE is the Buggy and Horse ride. Be aware that they drive on the left side of the road and that helmets are mandatory for all motor scooters.

traveldave Sun Sep 25, 2005 16:30 UTC Nassau has some interesting things to see and do, but I thought it was a little too "touristy" for my tastes. | Stephen-KarenConn Mon Sep 19, 2005 21:09 UTC Excellent page! You make me wanna go to the Bahamas right now. Actually, Karen and I are taking a Caribbean cruise, coming up in three weeks. It will be our first, and I can hardly wait. |
