Blackberry Dumplings Blackberry can be found wild growing just about everyplace in the Mountains during the spring. Here is a simple country recipe I make, Blackberry Dumplings. Bring to boil 4 cups of Blackberries with 3 cups of sugar and 1 half stick of butter in a 2-4qt. pot, cook until tender you can add more or less sugar to taste. Add 2 cans of biscuits whole or cut into. Turn stove down to a simmer until the biscuit is done, it's really good with ice cream. | | |
