Wonderful step down suite and other Las Vegas, NV Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

What a great room! I hear all the rooms are more or less the same. You have a step down area into a "living room". The bed was very comfortable for me. I like the bathrooms with the huge bathtub and glassed shower with plenty of room.
Our reservations were made through a third party travel site. This will not guarentee the room you have chosen. We were lucky and after 20 minutes of delay, we got the room we wanted. Your best bet is to book your stay through the hotel's website.

We stayed here for the weekend. I originally book a room with a king size bed but upon check-in all they had left was a queen if I wanted nonsmoking. They could give me an upgraded room but I would have to pay the difference. Hmm, I was disappointed but I didn't take it out on the pregnant hotel registration clerk that was helping me. Funny, she asks if I have stayed here before and I said no. She then immediately offers to provide me the upgraded room with the king size bed for no extra cost. We had a very nice room, comfortable bed with a great view of the strip.

TI has an outdoor Pirate Ship show that is performed about 4 times a day as part of the Las Vegas Boulevard Strip attractions.

Many of the hotels/casinos in Vegas offer a Players Club Membership. Sometimes, it encompasses a group of hotels/casinos. They want to track how much you are spending and in return offer you rewards such as discounted room rates or some free amenities. It doesn't cost any money to join. Each time you buy in to play the slot machines, card tables, craps or roulette, present your club card. My brother stayed at Treasure Island for the first time. At check out time, he was able to get one night free.

The Mirage is quite the show piece in Vegas. Go to the hotel lobby and be mesmorized by the giant seawater aquarium. The atrium has beautiful plants. My daughter and her friends seemed to enjoy this hotel/casino the most because the Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat and the food from the Carnegie Delicatessen. The tram from Treasure Island, where we stayed at, made it quite easy to go the Mirage. This is a place not to be missed!

I haven't stayed at Caesars Palace but every time I go to Vegas, I have to go in and check it out. What a place to see and the Forum Shops are just amazing!
