We were on our way to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. Traveling on the 210 FWY to get to the 2 FWY the interchange was blocked and detoured us through Montrose. We saw a festival going on and thought we would check it out. I've been to quite a few small town festivals and many times they are not really worthwhile. But this one was really wonderful with tons of people attending. Looking beyond the festival booths you can see restaurant after restaurant all up and down both sides of the road. My boyfriend and I plan to come back and try some of these places out. It's a great little community.

The annual Arts and Crafts Festival is coming up soon on June 6th & 7th, 2009. It's free and very much worthwhile. You should check it out if you can!.

From the 210 FWY, exit Ocean View Boulevard and go south. Turn west on Honolulu Avenue.

Grace, Its a nice picture of Montrose. The purple color is beautiful. I am just back from Barcelona and enjoyed the city very much.
