Amazingly, beautiful turquoise water

La Jolla, San Diego, Coronado and Mission Bay is all within a 10-20 minutes from each other. This makes for a wonderful excursion. I spent four days here and without going to Sea World or the famous San Diego Zoo, it was really great to take in all that these cities have to offer with their quaint shopping areas and wonderful restaurants. Though the water was probably too cold to take a dip in, it was magnificient to see. I curled up on a bench by the water, read a book - listening to my palm pilot loaded with my favorite tunes.
