If you have any opportunity to see a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, you should! One of the very few venues that allow you to picnic on there grounds and bring your own food and drink. If you are fortunate to have seats in a terrace box, that is great because they provide tiny tables for you. I've seen people bring tablecloths, candles, wine and wine glasses. I've done it and enjoy it immensely! Last Friday evening, we saw Genesis. Unfortunately, the tickets indicated no glass/no cans. You could still bring your picnic but without the glass or cans. We ended up having our picnic on a bench just before you enter the venue but still on the premises. The bowl is an outdoor venue, usually rain or shine. Well, it did rain a little. I was prepared having my rain poncho. It came in handy. I still enjoyed the show!

Directions: Off the 101 Freeway. The Bowl has limited parking, stacked parking. So, that means you have one car right behind another. You cannot leave unless the car(s) in front of you are gone. They have several alternative parking lots with shuttle buses.

Sport's Club? No, it's a restaurant!

We did not eat here but we checked it out because everyone inside looked like they were having a good time, screaming and yelling! It was Sunday and football is the all American past time. This place had TV's in every possible direction you can look in. There was even a TV in the bathroom! All are showing different games going on during the day. With indoor/outdoor dining areas, looked like the guys spend their entire day here drinking, eating and rooting for their teams to win! Looked like a lot of fun!
