Istanbul; Cultural Harmony of East and West

Istanbul extends both on the European and on the Asian side of the Bosphorus, and is thereby the only metropolis in the world which is on two continents.
It has a three - thousand- year old history. Now it's one of the largest cities in Europe. Old and new , east and west together in an amazing harmony. There are so many things to discover time after time.

Historical Peninsula from Dolmabahce's garden

This photo has taken from Dolmabahce Palace's garden. You can see the Hagia Sofia and Topkapý Palace in the historical peninsula.(Yes you're right they are too small from here:P)
Of course the first place you have to see when you come Istanbul is Sultanahmet. You'll find everything you need :Sultanahmet Mosque,Hagia Sofia,Topkapi Palace,Basilica Sistern,Grand Bazaar....
An don't forget to eat ''Kofte'' in ''Tarihi Sultanahmet Koftecisi''

Istanbul's ferries

Istanbul is the most luckiest city in the world cause it has an amazing bosphorus that separates east from west.It has a nice climate that we can see each four seasons. It has also beautiful nature but unfortunately it has been mostly destroyed because of the fast increasing population :(

These ferries are my really passion and used them so much while studying at Istanbul University (At the European part) cause I was/am livinp in the Asian Part.I wrote many of my poems in these ferries with the view of sunsets of Istanbul.
I also love the seagulls and think that these are the symbols of Istanbul...
