Its where I'm staying now I, myself was wondering why in the 1st place I set up Kuala Lumpur as my home when in actual fact I have been living in Ampang - well Bandar Baru Ampang to be exact - for the pass 6 years! Hhhmmm...Yupp, that's the fact.
I moved into my current apartment back in 2001. It was further to my office compared to the rented home I stayed when I first come to work in Kuala Lumpur in 1998.
I decided to move into my very own apartment when I have to fork out RM400/month for the rented room when it was really hard to find roomates. The area has been developed to the brim now and it was rather congested with low cost apartments and new housing estate.
Eversince then, I have been commuting to work every morning from here through the traffic jam. The Ampang - KL Elevated Highway (AKLEH) was a blessing when it was completed that reduced the travel time to my office. |
