It is one of the well known lake garden especially for local people & sport addicts. It consists of a sport complex which is equipped with a gym, volleyball, tennis, badminton, basketball & squashy courts; lake garden, children playground, horse riding, remote contral car racing circuit etc. You can also get a beautiful shots of the Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Tower and the Cultural Palace from the lake garden. Most of the time there are lots of children playing at the playground & families loaded with picnic baskets. Sometimes a loner guy sitting on a bench reading a book or newspaper or simply admiring the beautiful landscape. If u want to sweat out all those fats, a jogging track goes around the lakes. You can also opt for a paddling boat or water bicycle at the water sport complex.

Things To Do: Visiting the Living Oceans @ Aquaria KLCC

Aquaria KLCC is the latest addition of tourist attraction in the vicinity of the Golden Triangle. Housed in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre building - opposite the twin towers -, it becomes a new home to some of the underwater world rare species. It can be assessed through a pedestrian tunnel from the Twin Towers. The underground tunnel is located on Concourse Floor of the SURIA KLCC shopping complex. If you are coming from the KLCC LRT Station, walk through the shopping complex until you reach the Centre Court. Turn left where you can see the Information Counter, KFC Fast Food Restaurant as well as the Tower Records. The entrance to the tunnel is between Tower Records & Memory Lane gifts shop (on your right).
At the end of the tunnel take a left turn going through the car park. From there you can see a big signage indicating AQUARIA KLCC. (See pic) As it is barely 1 year old - opened mid 2005 - you should not make a comparision between other underwater world that you have visited. Instead, take it as learning experience about the underwater world life with all the interactive equipment provided within. Dont miss the gigantic Arapaima fish as you come down to the lower level of the Aquaria. The Living Ocean is where they housed many kind of sharks (see pic, sorry a bit blurish), HUGE garoupas, sting rays, eels etc. Among the must sea creature is the Frog Fish, i.e the fish with LEGS!!!!. Dont miss it as its 'house' is almost at the exit before you go up the escalator to the gift shop - ATLANTIS.
Apart from fishes, there is also a short strectch where they house the Chamelion, gigantic frog, poisonous frogs, tarantula etc.It opens daily from 10 am to 10 pm with last ticket sales and admission is at 9 pm. The standard ticket is sold at RM38 (approx. USD 10) for adults, and RM26 (approx. USD 7) for children between 3 to 12. Below 3 is FOC. For details of promotions, do's & donts, facilities. maps etc. kindly visit the website.

It is what it is...a convention centre. A pic from above, the KLCC - as its now known of - the convention centre looks like a bird soaring high in the sky, but this one on the land :p I was told, that the design was actually inspires by the shape of a boomerang...and yeah you guess it right the building design was done by an Australian. Even the roof looks like Sydney Opera House roof!! Before its completion mid 2005, the place was already fully book up to Year 2007 for all sorts of conferences & exhibition. Ample parking space is provided and it can be accessed from Jalan Pinang, next to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Through the same car park its also the access route to Aquaria KLCC which is located in the same building.
