Restaurant Name: Bukhara Restaurant
Its a good place if you intend to relax or just having an important business chat with your client or even friends. The surrounding is quiet and variety of food serve inclusive some Western dish. If you are not sure of what to eat, ask the friendly waiter who is ever willing to assist you in making your choice. The special thing about this restaurant is they provide a special device on each table that allows you to call for the waiter for the exact things that you wanted them to do either for "ORDER", "DRINK", "BILL" and if you wrongly press a button, rest assured that there is a "CANCEL" button provided. (see pic)
Favorite Dish: Its not really my favourite, but it is what I recently tasted during a lunch out with a former school mate. Roasted Chicken with a special sauce. The dish is one whole spring chicken serve with the special sauce and steamed carrots & cucumber. Honestly, the taste its a bit bland for me. The vegetable Beriyani rice tu out to be good. It was nicely served in a bowl covered with a fine & crispy bread pastry. Selection of hot & cold drinks are available...from coffee to fruit juices and the all year round drinks - mineral water -

The food!!! The taste is delicious and it is assuredly fresh!!! You can even ask the owner for the benefit of eating mussels. They have individual serving and some set servings which is very reasonably priced. Its open daily except on Mondays from 6 pm til 12 midnite or until the supply finish which ever is earlier.... Truthfully, all mussels gone by 9.30 pm during one of my visit there...so be early!!! - - - - - > THIS OUTLET IS TEMPORARY CLOSED AS THE OWNER IS IN THE PROCESS OF EXPANDING HIS BUSINESS. WILL UPDATE ABT THE NEW PLACE AS SOON AS HE OPENS IT........ SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED < - - - - - -
Favorite Dish: 1. Moules Home Traditional - it's so good that its indescribable....they add lemon grass, tumeric leaf, black pepper into it. The taste of the soup...marvellous! 2. Moules Celery 'Special' - if you having cold, this is recommended. See menu in the pic for other dishes. For the side dish, I love the fried mushrooms. Food Garden: Cheaper meals in KLIA ?

Tip Rating: Satisfaction:

|
|
|
Restaurant Name: Food Garden
Located on 2nd floor in the airport building, it provides alternative to the visitors rather than all the fast food restaurants at a much more reasonable price. They adopted a stall concept which sell typical Malaysian up to Western food. Its a free seating and no worries, they have ample seats. Food is paid at respective outlets. Drinks are sold at the centre of the Food Garden. A bottle of mineral water, a glass of fruit juice or teh tarik...just ask for it. The same drinks outlet also offered some good desserts to end your meal...choc cakes, pastry etc.. (when i say good, it meant good!!!) If you are not sure of what to order, just browse through as most outlets provide sample of how the serving looks like. They are more than happy to help you make your selection.
Favorite Dish: None would I say as my favourite since I only stop by to fill up my tummy before my next flight. But I would recommend the roti canai - make sure to ask for both gravy i.e dhal & fish curry OR the vercimelli curry from the Noodle & Sizzling outlet is also good. They have various selection of soup dishes.

Food Republic: Fancy eating 'republican' food??

Restaurant Name: Food Republic
It is not a so call Republican food. This food court is named 'Food Republic' and it resides on 1st floor of the new PAVILLION KUALA LUMPUR shopping complex in Jalan Raja Chulan. Why republic? There, you can taste multiple countries dishes. At one glance I sighted Taiwan, Vietnamese, Hong Kong, Korea, Japanese & some typical Asean stalls here. Ample seats for dining in with cozy environment.
Favorite Dish: I have recently tried Laksa Asam at 'Laksa Shack' stall where my hubby tried the Laksa Sarawak; and Wantan mee dry with shrimp dumpling soup at the 'Friends' a Hong Kong food stall. At this HK food stall, my husband gave in to the temptation of tasting the roasted duck with wantan mee dry All dishes are commendable. Will have the tips on respective stalls seperately.

Laksa Shack: A bowl of laksa anyone?

Restaurant Name: Laksa Shack
~Lets have one at Laksa Shack~
I have tasted the Laksa Penang at its outlet at Food Rapublic food court in Pavilion shopping complex as well at Signature Food Court, Suria KLCC.
Being new with a different concept, the outlet at Pavillion is preferred... well at least for me since at KLCC I normally have my lunch there & u can just imagine the hungry workers crowding the area at lunch hour.
The menu offered is separated into few categories: 1. Everyone's favourite : Laksa Johor, Laksa Penang (Asam Laksa), Laksa Sarawak etc. 2. Rice & Set berdulang : White rice with preselected dishes either fish, chicken etc. 3. Anytime Favourite: local famous roti jala with chicken curry, nasi briyani, nasi kerabu etc. 4. Other light menu: roti canai, special drinks
However, not all outlets offer the above menu.
Favorite Dish: Spoilt for choice, I tried the Laksa Penang while my hubby satisfy his craving for Laksa Sarawak when we had our lunch at Pavillion that particular day.
As usual I asked for extra mint leaf & calamansi... love it sour & what a great taste!
