Beautiful Tuva

by Marywhotravels - last update: Aug 29, 2005

Man, is it pretty there

Whenever I tell anyone anything about my trip to Kyzyl, I always have to start with a very elaborate explanation of where exactly that is. It's really too bad that so few people have heard of the Republic of Tuva, let alone have been there, since it is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable places I have ever visited. So I'm adding these pictures of my trip in the hopes that it might inspire someone else to check out this wonderful place. Tuva is still rather poor, and an infusion of tourist dollars could really spiff up the region.
