Third Largest City in the World

by esmerkingsland - last update: Feb 1, 2006

Sao Paolo is about 8 hours trip from Miami, it's a real big city, it is the 3rd largest city in the world. About 9 million people visit Sao Paolo each year. The city has all the things a big city can offer varied restaurants, big hotels, traffic and crimes. Many immigrants came to this city many centuries ago, and so these people introduced their own culinary delight.

The city remains at the critically high level in crime activity, as many people come to this place some experience no problems. Nevertheless, one should take extra precautions when visiting. Never travel alone, and when stopping to take pictures in the center of town be wary of your surroundings. Never carry excessive cash, watch for your belongings, and leave expensive jewelries in the hotel's safe. Lots of laptops are also stolen at the airports and hotel's lobby. When strolling around flea markets be extra careful of pickpockets.

Just be extra cautious of your surroundings and do not act as a typical tourist and you might survive and enjoy your travel in this city.
