| Lecce Cathedral from the north east |
Whilst Lecce contains some fine architecture I personally felt that it is overrated when compared to some of the other towns in the vicinity. Some modern buildings spoil the setting for the old ones and the atmosphere seems to be set up for tourists. Additionally many of the churches are closed for long term repairs. |
