Lovely hotel within walking distance of metro stations and other transport connections. Staff very friendly and informative. They were able to offer advice on a number of issues such as routes to attractions and local amenities. Booking in was a dream even though we arrived a couple of hours early and definitely looked like a group of down at heel backpackers. No snobbery they made us feel very welcome, warning though, we obtained very good rates on the net and assumed that this was a little three star (ish) hotel it isn't and we were clearly underdressed for the occassion. Just a word of warning although to be fair it didn't cause the staff at the hotel any probs. After a shower and a vrush up we were able to blend in with the rest of the guests, more or less. Didn't eat on the premises although there was a very pleasant looking chinese restaurant in the hotel. Also had a piano bar with live music (not noisy more background music).
Unique Qualities: Swimming pool and gymnasium very small and would be the only downside for a hotel of this size. While we were there four of us used the facilities and believe me that was the max for both the poll and gymn. Maybe you'll be able to answer a question which I was left with, why a hotel in KL has a sauna. More interestingly people seem to use it on a regular basis. I started to sweat just thinking about it.
