We spent a week in Bangkok in the summer of 2003, I had been they before and done the normal tourist thing, visiting the royal palaces, river tour to take in the royal barges etc. So was determined to see a bit more as a family holiday i think its important to choose a hotel with a pool so you can unwind after a long hot day.

|  | We took a day trip out to this place but can not remember where it was or what it was called but it was enjoyable with Traditional dancing shows the elephants etc |
| | Bangkok just has so much to see and do , Most of the temples are just breath taking be sure to spend as much time as possible at each transport around the city is equally varied with the good Monorail system cheap taxis and of course the Tut Tut |

Great page Peter! I can hardly wait to visit Bangkok again. I 've only been once and did all the usual things, but I would love to go back and discover a bit more about this fascinating city. |
