I visited KL in late summer 2003 whilst it was a great couple of days other than the Petronas Towers and our visit to the Menare coms tower there are no other highlights which we visited which left a lasting impression, but in fairness to KL I'm writing this 2 years on, I must say the hotel Concorde where we stayed was rather plush and it incorporated the Hard Rock Cafe which went down particularly well with the Kids
The towers are mighty impressive when standing below, and there is a very good shopping mall located within
The Menare tower is situated on top of a hill within KL and is over 420mts Tall ,what veiws from the top there was aslo a resturant at the top although we didnt use it

sort of kidding about the food...I thought Melaka was a foodie paradise!
Pete, Those twin towers built on an almost impossible site and are an engineering marvel. Nice pics! You are quite a world traveler, BTW, and have done much for such a short time on VT! Impressive! Doug (^_^)
