"An interesting although not touristic city" Carbonia by francescamelis

Carbonia is a city of 33.000 inhabitants, i's a quite young town it was been estabilished by Mussolini in 1936 over a little hill in order to accomodate the workers of the coke mines.
In Carbonia there are interesting museums about the fenicio-punica area around the city.
We reccomend a visit to Monte Sirai an archeological site.
