The path less travelled..

Named after conservationist John Muir, this was my absolute favorite spot we visited in CA. It is beautiful here-if you are a nature love it is a must see! The Muir Woods is awe inspiring. It is like a sanctuary in the city. Huge coastal redwood trees, hundreds of years old and taller than the Sequoias, this is an incredible area to hike.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Robert Frost

Towering over 200 feet, the trees remind us of how small we really are in the whole scheme of things. Also making them difficult to photograph.
