Barcelona is my favourite city and definitely the place where I can imagine myself living and working for a couple of years. It's big and it has absolutely everything, but it's still the right size for a small-town girl like me not to feel lost. I spent one semester at Pompeu Fabra University and went back a couple of years later to do a one-month language course in preparations for my exams.There were also a few short trips dottet in between then and now when the longing got to strong. I know Barcelona is a lot of people's favourite spot, but I don't mind. This city has a big heart that can accommodate everyone, and everyone will find their own personal Barcelona if they take the time to look for it away from the well-trodden tourist trail.
