For years, I promised my son, Andrew, that I would bring him to Scotland to visit my hometown and take him to a Glasgow Celtic game. He was 15 and I was concerned that he might be bored or find it too quaint for his tastes. I was wrong he loved it so much. He was quite surprised by how green the country side was even in the middle of winter.
Andrew had seen many football games on the TV and went to Hartford to see Celtic play Liverpool, but he had never been to Paradise to see the famous Glasgow Celtic. It was a thrilling game as Celtic beat Hibernian 3-2.

This is the best pub in Cowdenbeath. During the day they have a lovely pub lunch. more travel advice
