For all your travel needs The Russian market Phnom Penh, just arrive carrying $ bills, nothing large just 1's, 5's and 10's and you can buy anything you'll need. Never again will I equip myself in the UK before coming here. This huge indoor place sells anything and everything - so choose, barter, buy and perhaps a spot of lunch. |
| Burnt, Thirsty but nearly there |
| | Boats and Sunblock Took the river boat up from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap - Brilliant 6 hour trip that turned into 8 + or so when the engine conked out - hence the sunblock (actually lack of it) , as all us poor soul's on the roof started very slowly to burn.
Spectacular scenery, from the wildlife to the villages on stilts - then arriving thru a floating village to the chaos and mayhem of the children, touts and hustlers waiting to "greet" us. |
| Small delay, It will be OK in a minute ! |
| | Cambodian Motorways Essential bridge maintainence being done while we crossed. Main road east out of Poipet. |
