Situation

Arras est le chef-lieu du Pas-de-Calais. C'est une tranquille citée provinciale mais qui offre au visiteurs de nombreux atouts !

A la confluence des rivières Scarpe et Crinchon elle a toujours été un point stratégique. Encore aujourd'hui au carrefour des autoroutes A1 (Paris-Lille) et A26 (Reims- Calais et Tunnel sous la manche). Il y a moins d'une heure de train depuis Bruxelles ou Paris.

Sa populations était de 44000 habitants en 1999.
