Gîte-Auberge "Les Baladins": Big affair but very friendly

We stay one night with 7 people , and had twoo rooms for it.
But you can ask for a room for twoo or four people. You have the choise about different formules.
It have a good situation for summer and for winter sports. You have possibilities for transport your bags to the following location (it's called Sherpa services)

Les astragales: Sleeping by the backer

We stay one night on ower trip. Danielle is a lovely lady who's knows very, very much about hiking over there. She give friendly al informations about the country and is very helpful. Pascal is in the kitchen , preparing bread , diner or desserts. We sleep with seven in one room and had fun. But there are other possibilities: in rooms,...
The diner was delicious.

Unique Qualities: Good food, nice garden , quiete area, in nice little town in the middle of the mountains.

"Les Bons Enfants": Old house in old town: curious

The third place we sleep on this trip. We where in quiete room on the backside of the house. Niece place, principali the restaurant. Guest can also selfcooking. We taste the local beer : Tourmente.
(a 5.2 ° alcolic in lager, white or genepi , I prefer the lager one) on the terras. This was the shipest adres on the way. There was many people sleeping there and the owners has (to) much work with.
But after al we where in good place there. I must say that we where on the feet of the Izoard and the "Tour de France" on bike come along in the morning.

Unique Qualities: Wonderful restaurant in the restorate cellar.

Le bois de Barracan: On any km from the old city of Briancon

Daniele, the lady of the house , welcome her guest. You have the choise : sleep in individuel (for twice) or sleeping rooms (for 8 p) We were 7 people in one room. It apens more in the mountains.
She made a delicious diner for us: vegetable salad with eigs, spaghettis, sheese and fruitsalad at last. The wine was in the price. We stay one night before going father to Brunissart (see the next tip: Les Bons Enfants)

Unique Qualities: Good showers. Good bed. Good eat. Good drink. Helpful people. Interesting other guest.
Wat want a mountain walking group more ?
We paid 31.50 euros for sleeping , diner and breakfast !
