GR 5

We are always walking on Grande Randonnée (Long distances footpaths) So we chose once more the GR 5. This one goes from the North sea at Holland to Nice (France) on the Mediterranean sea.

We started (2005) in Bessans where we stopped a year ago and walking in eight days to Clavière at the Italian border.

In 2008, we decided to do the turn of the massive one Vanoise: 7 days of walking from the start of Modane for a journey that will be most often situated beyond 2000 meters of altitude

On trekking

We do not choose evidently the big luxury: Flock paths, housings in refuges of mountains,...

But which pleasure of this to rediscover alone in the middle of the nature in the middle of flowers, of the marmottes, mountains,... with the silence in the ears and the mountain as horizon!

and so on

That asks a little (a lot!) of energy but the result is wonderful!

Etape 3: Plan-Sec - L'Arpont ( 2309m) , 6h

Victor ah! How lucky we can go here and choose where we want to go ... then that so many people in Syria, Ukraine and elsewhere seek only shelter, a meal ... or a future! And that here as elsewhere people complain again ... Thanks anyway for your comment :-)
