Two friends of mine and I went to Jerba and spent some fun days relaxing there.
We did not stay at a hotel, we had a privat little house with a family one of my friends knew at that time and that gave us total freedom.
We came and went whenever we wanted, we only went to the hotal beaches to swim and spend our tiem during the days... by the third day most of the taxi drivers knew us and took us home without even asking for our address.... word of mouth sure travels fast!
- Pros:Very friendly people, good bargaining
- Cons:As girls we had to stay together to be safe
- In a nutshell:Wonderful vacation in a wonderful place

We rented a car and drove from the island over a dam to the mainland of Tunisia to visit some Roman ruins, it was great... more travel advice
