A small city in a beautiful part of England
I have been living in Herefordshire since 1988, when I moved to Eyton, near Leominster to become an hotelier. I sold the hotel in 1999 and spent a year cycling around Spain. Now I am living in Hereford city and working as a postman. I enjoy the work as it allows me discover the surroundings of the city and the nearby countryside. The status of city is recognised through its cathedral a magnificent structure. The See of Hereford has been quoted as being "one of the few bishoprics which have come down almost without interruption from the first establishment of Christianity in our land until the present day." It is certainly considered the most ancient in England.
