Arm yourself with a map of Heidelberg... and start exploring this town on your own! You can get a copy of the map from the tourist office/ major hotels. Good luck! When you're climbing uphill to the Heidelberg castle, please ensure that you wear sturdy shoes. I have actually seen some female tourists clad in lovely stilettoes shoes only to see them a moment later, tumbling down the....er, slope....if you catch my drift! So, do be careful please. :-)
