You can find some inexpensive food here at Altstadt i.e. the Old Town area. For the junk food lovers, there's always the reliable McDonald's! Or if you'd like to try some cheap Chinese food, you may wish to check out Kim China Fast Food, located at Bismarckplatz, next to Woolworths.... or 'Grosser Wok', located just off Bismarckplatz, opposite the Denner Hotel.

Favorite Dish: At Kim China Fast Food, you can feast on their very delicious noodles (yummy!) and rice dishes. A small portion will cost about 4 to 6 DM; the larger portions cost 7+ DM. Sadly, there's no seating available. But still, it's VERY popular with the locals and tourists due to its location and its great tasting food. I'd highly recommend this joint.

At Grosser Wok, you can feast on a plate of noodles with fried vegetables for about 5 to 6 DM. You can choose to have the meat dishes instead.

P.S. Standing room only for eating.... for the very obvious reasons (read: cheap joint... what more can one ask for?).

O.K., I found a German restaurant that I fancy here in quaint Heidelberg. And it's called 'Weisser Bock' located at Große Mantelgasse 24, just off Unterestr. in Altstadt (the Old Town)...

Favorite Dish: This quaint restaurant has been furnished with lots of dark wood....hoping to add a German feel to it, I guess.

Er... maybe I should also warn you guys a little about the prices here: Please don't balk when you have to pay 25 DM and upwards for the main course. But the food here is indeed very good!
