I love LONG BEACH.
Located just 22 miles (approx. 48KM) south of downtown Los Angeles, it is lies on the San Pedro Bay on the Pacific Ocean.
A very, very good friend of mine used to live here... just by the ocean. Everyone was so friendly and well, what can I say? I enjoyed every minute of my time here.

|  | My first visit to LONG BEACH was in the summer of 1991. What I found most amusing was the stares I received when I went out with my American friend. People were just staring at us... But they were all very friendly. I'll assume that not many Asians live in this area in 1991... hence, the attention. :-)
