If you're a first time visitor to the Land of the Rising Sun, the very first thing you must, must, must do is to read up as much as you can on the amazing Japanese culture and customs.
If you don't.... God forbid... you may just end up embarassing yourself. Trust me, if you're from the western world, you'd be entering into a whole new culture and civilization!
I mean, have you seen streets and roads so clean that it glistens? Well, OK... I know I'm exaggerating a little here... but I'm sure you're getting the picture. Or have you seen a society of people so polite that you'd end up with a sore back? Read: from all the bowing that you'd be doing when in Japan! ;-) Or have you tried to buy one of those super-cool Japanese gadgets? I mean, this is the country that invented the bullet train and perfected all things high-tech! Or what about the food? Have you tried their cool but super-expensive sashimi (the freshest raw fish in the world!). Drool.....
And now.... (drum roll please)... are you ready to visit Japan... and make this your most memorable trip - ever?!
Good. Then, please follow me as we enter into a whole new civilization here in Japan.
This page will contain a general overview of the different cities in Japan which I've visited over the years... and all articles are written from my personal point of view.
Writing about my holiday travels is my HOBBY.
When you run into someone who is disagreeable to others, you may be sure he is uncomfortable with himself; the amount of pain we inflict upon others is directly proportional to the amount we feel within us. - Sydney J. Harris
