G'day mates!

How can anyone not enjoy BRISBANE?

Capital of Queensland, BRISBANE offers all the enticements (and excitement!) of a bustling city... and only an hour or less away from the city center are the major theme parks and coastal resorts of the SUNSHINE and GOLD COASTS. BRISBANE may not be able to rival the cosmopolitan delights of a major city like Sydney or the stately grandeur and quaintness of Melbourne, but it is certainly one of the most lovely of Australia's capital cities! More importantly, the weather here is beautiful... with a sub-tropical climate that encourages the 1.3 million inhabitants to live life at a more languid pace.... er....at least you won't be knocked over in the rush that typifies the "Big Smoke," as Australians refer to their big cities!

There are many things to see and do here..and many places to conquer! Just continue to scroll down this page and you'd know what I mean. I hope you'll have a fabulous time exploring all of BRISBANE's major tourist attractions and sights, like I did.
