Greetings from CAMBRIDGE!

The best thing about this lovely town is its size. It's really a City where you can walk from one end to the other in just a couple of hours. Really. There are also lots of pretty cool pubs, winding alleys and side-streets with quaint little shops to entice a shopping enthusiast like myself. As you stroll along the alleys and streets, you'd also notice beautiful buildings everywhere.... too many for me to name. But just between us, the truth is....I don't really know the names to all these buildings. :-(( Shhh, don't tell anyone!

I was really very much bowled over by these fantastic old buildings instead re: the colleges and bridges. I know everyone adores King's College but my personal preference is really St John's College. Other noteworthy attractions include the Mathmatical Bridge at Queen's, the Fitzwilliam Museum, Senat House and of course, the world famous Kings' College Chapel.

The eclectic mix of people.... the range of music and theater available.... the abundance of green pastures here really makes this University town a must-visit. You may sometimes hear the local town folks moan about the presence (omnipresence?) of the many foreign students here, but I must admit that these young people do give Cambridge a very lively, energetic and vibrant image! Don't you agree?
