I have to admit that it was less then 4 years ago that I had first heard about Playa del Carmen (or simply playa as I like to refer to it). My husband, then boyfriend, and I were looking for someplace nice and quite to relax after everything that had happened in 2001. He some how came upon Playa and convinced me that this is where we should take our vaction. After much research we booked our flight and hotel...little did I know that this place was going to be the basis of many happy memories to follow. |
