Lived here forever and Love it...sorta Well I have lived in New York my whole life and I have to admit that I am a typical New Yorker. I have visited some famous places (the Statue of Liberty, Yankee Stadium, The Empire State Building) but on the whole I take it all for granted! To me New York is this great place that I think everyone should visit and will have a wonderful time. But after you have lived here for 26 years it gets, well, annoying! To me everything that people find amazing about this city I find dull or too crowded. New York on the most part is too crowded but that is what makes this place special. There are 9 million people in such a small space that there is no way it can't be crowded. That’s why we just keep creating buildings that are taller and bigger then before. |
The Touristy Section There are so many great things to do in New York City and the surrounding areas that I hate to be cynical but like I said I am a typical New Yorker. If you have time to visit you should definitely check us out. There are so many great places to go and don't limit yourself to just the city proper. The subway does travel into the boroughs and I suggest checking them all out! |
