Exploring new countries, meeting new people and sharing other cultures, backpacking in the middle of nowhere, climbing mountains, or hiking in wonderful landscapes, this is what I like!

Hikkers, you will find within my pages some GPS waypoints and tracks. Please do not hesitate to contact me to get them. If you do that yourself, Please let me know. I would be pleased to find a network of hikkers who use the GPS for their explorations.

Culture

Discovering the culture of new places: visual arts, paintings, music, museum, theatre or opera... All this take a great importance in my life. For example, I like to attend to an Opera performance in each major city that I visit!

Relax

My way to explore a new place is also to spend some time in a cosy bar, drinking a coffee, reading a good book and talking with local people.

The opera in Darmstadt did L'Orfeo that same year in a more conventional but very beautiful and moving production. I expect you would have liked that one better. (I liked both.)
