We visited the mound on June 18, 2005. It's free to go to, and has a couple picnic shelters along with an indoor bathroom facility. There are over 100 steps to the top, so skip the stairmaster routine the day you go, and just climb the mound. Great view from the top.
Our town seem to attract alot of wild ducks. Here are two wondering around outside my apartment.
- Pros:Small town atmosphere but has alot of good chain restaurants, bookstores, movie theaters, and the Dayton Mall.
- Cons:Mainly single family homes and corporate apartments, rent can be expensive
