Burundi is a beautifull destination for the one who doesn't want to see tourists, wants to meet people, understand a little bit of African history and culture want's to see africa but not thru the window of a Matatu or the binoculars for game watching...
After 10years at war... the country is rebuilding with a lot of coruption, lot of complex situations inheritated from this crisis and a lot of renonciation.
But the hills all cultivated, the tanganika lake, the people a worth the visit and it is really enjoyable to discover another kind of africa (excpetually if you have seen countries like Kenya, tansania, South africa ... before)
