It was back in 1996 when I visited London for first time. After that I returned many times. It's a multi culture city, with thousands things to do!
London is an expensive city but you have to know that most of the museums are for free! |
| | Don't forget to walk! London has some great big parks that you can spend some relaxing hours.
Some times we leave behind our countries we are so stressed to see, watch and catch up every landmark that it gets useless. Take your time! Even in such a big city it's better to sit down in a peaceful square and enjoy it...
MUST SEE ACTIVITIES : -Visit some great museums and Art Galleries (Science M., British M., Natural History M., Tate Modern, Tate Britain, National Portrait Gallery etc) -Walk and relax at some great parks like St James Park, Green Park, Regend’s Park etc -Buy or just watch others at markets like Camden, Borough, Brixton, Portobello etc -Watch at least one musical -Visit St. Paul church, Westminster Abbey, Tower Of London, Greenwish -Walk in small alleys, walk next to Thames river, go to Nottiing Hill, so many things and only two legs! -Use the tube! It’s a legend! Mind the gap! :) -Take advantage of London Walks
-Meet people from all over the world! Talk to them! Don’t look wax statues. It’s the real people that counts! |
As for me, the truth is that I usually visit London to go to concerts! Many of them every day, some times I don't know where to go first.... The first thing I do when I get there is to buy TIME OUT magazine to check the nightlife section!
Check out my my nightlife tips for some addresses. | | |
