If you just want to relax there are many café/tapa bars in the old town where you can drink and eat something light. A small paella(on microwave of course) usually costs about 9 euro, tapas (3-5euro), bocadillos (3-4 euro) so with a couple of beers you will fill full without spending a fortune. Tapa bars are so popular all over Spain anyway and usually the locals go there to socialize. We visited some of them but I noticed some pubs too (there is always an irish pub for a guiness etc) if you want to stay up later. The most popular beer is Estrella Damm, a simple cheap lager, nothing to die for but just ok.
