PARIS

view from the Arc
I stayed there for a week before going to Nice. Paris was my girlfriend's choice but I have some good moments too. It's a huge city with many highlights, monuments, museums etc and millions visitors every year (number one in the world).

So, don't be afraid! You won't get bored here... :)
Must Do Activities:
Walk next to Seine river and the nice area of Ile St Louis.
Visit Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Hotel De Ville , Champs Elyses , Arc , Concorde square, Notredame
Spend a day at Disneyland
Go up to Montmartre hill and admire Sacre Coeur
Make shopping therapy :)
Find many nice viewpoints and admire Paris from a higher point of view!
Walk in parks, gardens and nice squares.
Make a reservation in a jazz club
Relax with a coffee in one of the thousands bistros
a statue staring at the Eiffel!!

Glad you enjoyed having tea at the top of Montparnasse Tower! From there you get the best views of Paris, because it's the one place where you can look out and not see the Montparnasse Tower. Also I have never had to wait in a queue to get in there.

Nice Paris page and wonderful photos, especially those of Père Lachaise and Ste-Chapelle! I thought the obelisque on Place de la Concorde was the real thing? At least there is info there on how it was shipped?
