The Wall is down, David Bowie doesn’t make records here anymore, the old anarchist are proud parents now. So what? The government is here, artists are everywhere, the cold is cold always (dress well people!), cool clubs for everyone, nice pubs, punks and rockers, artists, love parade for the gays etc You can see history around, look at the buildings, go to the opera, visit an art gallery, a 20s feeling sometimes… Beautiful as Paris? No! As Prague? No! But Berlin is nice! Really nice! With nice people and not just nice buildings… People from all over the world come here to spread their inspiration about painting, music, science etc Life isn’t expensive here. You can eat well with less than 10 euro, see a concert with 12e, drink a coffee with 1,8e (I give 4e in Athens!), shop at a bazzar. Only the transportation needs some extra money, and please, avoid taxis, but it’s something you should avoid anywhere. Only with public transportation you get in real touch with locals. Especially the young ones, they have hunger for new people, faces, cultures...

ah! I liked the numerous bicycle paths the last years by the way

I always dont stay more than 2 days in Berlin but I always return
