Goooood morning world! I live in Athens and I like it so much that I try to travel around the world at least 3 times every year to get away! I work in a hospital, I love music, I collect vinyl records, I try to watch live concerts often, I read books all the time and of course I like to travel, meet people and take thousands of photographs of the places I like. Before my arrival to any city I do a small research, I read one or two book guides, some historical books about the area or the people and their customs. Finally, I try to find a literature book about it or watch a film that takes place there. I never use organised packages so I check out the subway system and I like to use a map when I finally arrive there but getting lost in the small streets is part of the game, especially when the unexpected surprises are there. A friendly smile, a conversation in a small café, a melody from a street artist and the smell of the local bakery are some of things I like to bring back. I have been many times to London and Madrid and generally most of my travels used to be in Europe although I've been to Cairo, Tunis, Istanbul. Recently I crossed the Atlantic ocean for Argentina and United States. |

I started to built my VT pages the last months so you have to wait for a while.. I have to find photos, to remember things etc The last two years VT pages were very useful for many of my trips so now I have to do the same for others too... I started with some famous destinations but it's the small that I'm proud like the small greek villages Trovaton, or Pramanda. Check them out plz :) I will try to put more places like this in the future... I also love the greek islands, take a look at Naxos, Chios, Limnos, Kythnos, Andros, Mykonos. More pages to come in the future too! | | | Honey, I shrunk the kids! |

Next time I visit Greece, it's definitely to the islands :-) | Trillian2005 Mon Jun 8, 2009 15:39 UTC I don't have any specific plans yet when to visit Andros. In this life time, I suppose ;-) I'm sure I'll love that island, it sounds just like the right place for me. |
