myBohol

My only brother and his wife take breaks in Maribojoc town, some 12 kilometers from the Bohol capital town of Tagbilaran. A couple of years ago they brought me and a sister and her husband to see Bohol's ancient churches (Baclayon, Maribojoc), the Punta Cruz watchtower (Maribojoc), the tarsiers, the natural beaches (with the clearest waters I have seen),

We also went through the "boardwalk" over a mangrove habitat that leads to an island of tall coconut trees.

The photo on top is of the Punta Cruz watchtower; the dino photo below was taken in Sagbayan atop one of the 1,000 + chocolate hills (limestone formations) that affords visitors a panoramic view of the hills.
