A good way to enjoy the sights and sounds of Munich is to join the Grayline Tours or other bus tours. They take you through the city and point out interesting sights that you can explore on your own at a later time, if you have time.
I only had half a day in Munich before taking my flight out of Europe so, this was the best way for me to have a bird's eye view of what the city is like.
From an open-top bus, it was also very convenient to take pictures! |
|  | The Lions of Munich I "found out" that whereas there are statues/sculptures of cows all over Athens, there is an abundance of lion statues in Munich. But I only managed to take a picture of ONE. And here it is...... |
