"Saint Siméon" Saint-Siméon by tayloretc

Coming from the Saguenay area, your first view of Saint Siméon is of the St. Lawrence river. Indeed, that’s the reason I stopped here for the night, and why I stayed where I did. The pic above shows the view from the hill overlooking the beach.

It looks like there wasn’t much going on during the off season except sit and watch the river. During the season, there’s beach camping and whale watches that depart right below the town, and proximity to a lot of outdoors activities. It’s a short trip from here to Saguenay, Charlevoix, and across the river to the southern shore.
