"Wadi Rum" Wadi Rum by Aitana

Wadi Rum Travel Guide: 272 reviews and 551 photos

Wadi Rum is a valley in southwest Jordan. It is well known since the British officer T.E. Lawrence took part in the Arab Revolt (1917–18) Wadi Rum was an important basis for his operations. Part of the film Lawrence of Arabia (David Lean, 1962) was filmed here.

The beauty of the massive rock formations attracts tourists, who like trekking and climbing, or simply having a tour in a four-wheel-drive jeep, a camel and horse safari or camping under the stars.
