At first, seeing the Balconies of Lima, because they are for Lima as is the Eiffel Tower for Paris, The Statue of Liberty for New York and the Lions in Trafalgar Square for London...
I was born in Pozuzo, it is a small town in the jungle where is the Austro-German Colony. My ascents came from Tyrol-Austria in an emigration expedition of XIX Century. This is very interesting history you can see at http://www.pozuzo.at
I moved to Lima about seven years ago, Lima is my hometown now, Lima is consider by UNESCO as World Heritage, so this is the hometown of everybody.
Lima is the capital city and main entrance to Peru.
I love the architecture of this city called “The City of The Kings”, so I am going to show palaces, mansions and estates built between 16th and 18th century.
Lima is ”The City of The Balconies” consider in this way for all foreigners. There are so many balconies, that “limeños” never thought of them as being consider something unique.
According to historians, the noble and wealthy Spanish people who settled in Lima, capital of Viceroyship (Virreynato). They built their mansions very similar in architecture to the arabian-moresque style of Spain.
It is a very interesting tour to visiting the balconies in Lima down town. |
